Door magnet is a kind of intrusion detector used in anti-theft alarm system to detect whether the door, window, machine drawer and so on are opened illegally, also called door magnet switch. It consists of two parts: the part with a line or with a terminal is the switch part, it is the main body of the door magnet, the quality of the door magnet by the quality of the internal reed switch; the other part of the shell is completely wrapped in the part called the magnet, containing a permanent magnet, which is used to generate a constant magnetic field. Door and Window Material Selection

Wooden doors and windows use Wuzhou wooden door magnets, such as: 5C-31, 5C-32, 5C-37, 5C-44 and so on.

Aluminium windows use Wuzhou window magnets, such as: 5C-33, 5C-34, 5C-38, 5C-39 and so on.

Metal door magnets for metal doors, such as: 5C-36, 5C-52, 5C-56, 5C-58, etc.; and

Shop, garage roller shutter door use Wuzhou roller shutter door magnet, such as: 5C-54, 5C-55, 5C-61L, 5C-62 and so on.

Installation options

Stick-on type: the shape is generally rectangular wooden door magnet, metal door magnet, window magnet;

Embedded: the shape of the group cylindrical, wooden door magnets, metal door magnets, window magnets;

Embedded: buried rolling door magnet is generally applicable to garage, shop installed rolling door, commonly used 5C-55;

Top-loading type: top-loading type is generally Southeast Asian guest garage and shop commonly used model 5C-54 rolling door magnet;

Side-mounted: side-mounted door magnets are mainly 5C-70 rolling door magnets, the factory for the pathway alarm.

Alarm mode selection

NC-Normally closed type / broken circuit alarm (national standard GB15209-2006 named as dynamic broken type)

Normally closed door magnet working principle: after the door and window are normally closed and armed, the permanent magnet and the switch are close to each other, then the switch signal is in the pass-through state; once the door and window are opened illegally, then the permanent magnet is far away from the switch, and the switch signal is disconnected to trigger the alarm. Normally closed door magnets are economical and practical, but also most of the engineering design selection. If there is no special indication, it will be defaulted to normally closed door magnet.

NO-Normally open type/passageway alarm

Normally open door magnet working principle: when the door or window is normally closed and armed, the permanent magnet is close to the switch and the switch signal is disconnected: once the door or window is opened illegally, the magnet is far away from the switch, and the switch signal restores the pass-through state to trigger the alarm.

NC&NO-Normally open/normally closed/conversion type

Normally open and normally closed door magnet features: three signal lines (or terminals), one for the common line COM, one for the normally open line NO, one for the normally closed line NC, according to the host need to choose the alarm signal output mode of the door magnet. The normally open and normally closed type door magnet adopts the conversion type reed switch.

Special Purpose Selection

For anti-interference requirements, select: 5C-59ATM anti-interference door magnet;

For low temperature of 20 degree Celsius, choose: 5C-58LT low temperature door magnet;

Need to be used in hotel wardrobe and door light, choose: 5C-48F, 5C-36F strong electric door magnet.

Need to indicate the working status of the door magnet, choose 5C-59D with indicator door magnet

Need outdoor telecom cabinet door control, choose: 5C-52B patent door magnet (Huawei telecom cabinet with 5C-44B enhanced)

Need lift door up and down control, choose: 5C-70B lift door magnet

Need anti-tamper foot anti-tamper function, choose: 5C-150 anti-tamper door magnet, also called anti-tamper switch.
